ARTICLE - "CLUB ESPACE PRO" LOYALTY PROGRAMME

Notwithstanding the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”), the terms and conditions relating to subscription to the CLUB ESPACE PRO programme are exclusive to this programme and are applicable exclusively to subscribing customers, subject to the conditions set out below.

MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS:

The CLUB ESPACE PRO programme is open to any individual who is a shareholder and/or director in a company/société registered in Mauritius. At the time of registration, customers must provide their surname, first name, e-mail address, BRN number, VAT number (if applicable), physical address and telephone number.
The CLUB ESPACE PRO programme may be subscribed to by any person meeting the above conditions by visiting one of our physical shops or by contacting our Pro department.

Customers can also view their purchase history and find out which category they belong to on the mobile application. Customers can also view their credit limit, if any, by filling in the form below, as well as their option to pay by cheque.

Once approved, the customer will have the right to either pay in cash or by cheque, as per the conditions approved by the store and the Pro department. It is to be noted that credit conditions will be closely monitored to avoid an automatic interruption at store checkouts and in the Pro department.

Customers are categorized by profile based in the field they work in, and are entitled to the discounts attached to their respective profiles.

For example, a painter will be entitled to discounts on Berling paint and painting accessories, whilst a landscaper will be entitled to discounts on gardening products.

SUBSCRIPTION:

A customer wishing to subscribe (hereinafter referred to as "subscriber") takes out a subscription for an indefinite period, subject to acceptance of these GTC.

Discount policy:

By subscribing to the CLUB ESPACE PRO programme, you benefit from the following advantages:

• A welcome discount of 10%, with the exception of aquarium products, plants and Espace Pro products.
• The ability to track your purchases in real time.
• A discount of up to 10% based on your profile and the amount spent during the fiscal year (see profiles in Annex 1). It is to be noted that the purchase value takes into account all discounted and non-discounted value after the discount and before VAT.
• The cumulative purchase amount is calculated on the post-discount and post-VAT amounts.
• The till receipt is calculated after discount and after VAT.
• Products purchased without a discount also count towards the cumulative purchase value.
• A discount of up to 5% on UBP products, based on your profile and the amount spent during the financial year (see UBP products offer in Annex 2). Products include aggregates, cladding, curbs, pavers, tiles and decorative pavers (non-exhaustive list, please inquire in store for more details).
• A discount of up to 25% on Berling products, based on your profile and the amount spent during the fiscal year (see Berling offer in Annex 3).
• The « depletion » rule applies when the customer does not reach the average accumulated purchases per month.

For example, if a customer buys for a total of Rs 1 million for the year 2023, his average cumulative purchase is Rs 333,333.33 and if the customer buys less than Rs 333,333.33 in 2024, the « depletion » rule applies according to the information below:

• 1st month with no purchase: 10%
• 2nd month without purchase: 25%
• 3rd month without purchase: 35%
• 4th month without purchase: 45%
• 5th month without purchase: 60%
• 6th month without purchase: 100%

Right of withdrawal as a member:

Subscription to the CLUB ESPACE PRO is considered firm and final.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact the store or the representatives of the Pro department.
Exercising the right of withdrawal does not entail the deletion of past or current transactions, but only the deletion of a person’s personal data.

Terms and conditions of use
Individual character of the CLUB ESPACE PRO subscription :

The subscriber are required provide the following information upon registration: surname, first name, e-mail address, national identity card number, physical address, telephone number, BRN and VAT (if applicable).
Subscription is strictly personal and not accessible to others.

Consent:

By subscribing to the CLUB ESPACE PRO programme, the subscriber expressly authorises Espace Maison to record and use the contact details provided (e-mail address and/or telephone number and/or postal address) for the purpose of communicating with him/her and sending offers by e-mail or SMS.
The member may withdraw his/her consent at any time by unsubscribing via their online account or by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each e-mail sent by Espace Maison.

CLUB ESPACE PRO delivery

Delivery for Pro customers is charged based on the distance covered.

Reservations, fraud and spam

Any fraud or attempted fraud will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of the GTC and the ensuing articles of the Criminal Code.
